I certainly couldn't say it better myself, so I am not going to try...

I hope you'll get a chance to read "What if Foley Were a Democrat" by Benjamin Shapiro. From the title, as you would guess, he points out how differently this has been treated by Democrats, referencing similar incidents within their own party. However, he is quick to point out how the Republicans have failed in taking this as seriously as they should have, while professing to be the party supposedly dedicated to values.
