When I read a book that can bring me to tears, it is a rare and special thing. That was the case when I recently read "Peace Like a River" by Leif Enger. (Listed in the column to your right, for more information or purchase.)
This was my book club's choice this month, and by far the best book we have read together. Everyone found spiritual truths and life lessons all through the book which were presented as this close little family goes through tough times and tougher decisions. The ending was both beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time, but our entire group found it very satisfying.
I hope you will have a chance to read "Peace Like a River" soon. It's one you are not likely to forget!
